GAMMA FORK

The special frequency of 40 hz known as gamma has shown in numerous studies to be beneficial for mood, memory and cognition. It helps the nerves of the brain work more coherently with one another. This fork should always be used with a companion C fork to make the therapeutic binaural effect.

How does this work?

The gamma tuning fork is actually 296 hz and a C fork (as in a C and G tuning fork set) is 296 hz.  When chimed together and when one brought to one ear and one to the other at same time, the brain subtracts the lesser frequency from the greater and it registers the difference resulting in the registering or the powerful 40 hz gamma wave.   The brain then tries to match or entrain to that healthy sound.

How often?

As often as you can! Healthy brain function is wonderful for all of us!

Tips:

Close eyes, it produces best results according to studies

Only hold stem so tines can vibrate properly
