Class Description:

Sound healing is the oldest and most profound form of healing worldwide. It can strengthen bonds between people, regenerate health at a cellular level, uplift emotions, and even repattern the brain. The art as well as the science behind sound healing will be explored in this relaxing and fun workshop. Practical techniques will be shown that you can use on yourself, your family, or your clients to improve wellbeing. Come join international sound healing educator Joanne Liljeholm and grow your understanding into this fascinating field. We will be experiencing seven different kinds of tuning forks as well as Tibetan and Alchemy bowls together. All tools will be provided.

Learning objectives:

By the end of this 2-day course the learner will be able to:

· Explain how sound waves repattern matter – science of cymatics

· Distinguish cross-cultural uses of sound healing worldwide

· Comprehend the physics of coherency, resonance, overtones, and harmonics

· Recognize the contributions of key researchers and teachers in sound healing historically and today.

· Describe how sound and light waves effect our bodies

· Assess sound’s effect on the human energy field

· Specify the ethical scope of practice in sound healing

· Perform energy balancing with the following tools: Solfeggio tuning forks and weighted body tuners, C and G paired tuning forks, Crystal tuning forks, Angel set tuning forks, OM tuning forks with and without crystal attachments, Tibetan and Alchemy singing bowls
